Leyla is an international Director, DP, and Executive Producer. An only child from The Bronx of New York City, she realized at a very early age the importance of family. She is incredibly close to her parents and carries that same level of love and support with every production. After all, working on set comes a newfound family, new memories and relationships.  With over ten years working in advertising and film combined, Leyla’s creative eye covers across global brands such as Hennessy, Rolex, Yankees, Chase, United Airlines, Park MGM, Facebook, Cadillac, Tod's, NARS, Autograph Collection, Poland Spring, and Kohl’s.


She is an award winning Producer for “Las Vegas Love Stories” Pencil Award - The One Show:  @theoneclubforcreativity 


The Webby Awards SHORTLIST 2019 , Cannes Film Festival SHORTLIST 2019 - for "Las Vegas Love Stories" films in partnership with Partizan and Virtue.

She is also the Executive Producer and Co-Creator of "The Gig" - an online series that represents Women of Color Producers here to give an insiders' POV to the entertainment industry from pre to post-production, to what you watch on TV. 

Leyla is very keen working with the youth. In 2018 she's traveled to Haiti to direct videos for an ethical fashion brand named Simbi; where proceeds go to providing clean water to kids and employ Haitian artisans.


While in South Africa, Leyla (who is on the board of directors) worked with the non-profit organization, The One Club to direct two films (in Cape Town and Johannesburg) on South African young creative professionals in advertising, and musicians,  Ma Nala, and DJ Speedsta.

Her film "Cuba Skate" won best documentary in 2017 at The Official Latino Short Film Festival. Within that same year Leyla also won the 55th NYFF / LG V30 Film Competition for her film "She Was Afraid To Fly", and her VR branded content for the agency Huge / client SK-II was nominated for a Webby award. It featured celebrity talent, Wallace Huo, and the launch of the film grossed $2 million in sales within one day during China’s Singles Day event 11/11/2016; breaking P&G’s record in sales.


Leyla’s had the privilege to work with celebrity talents (in 

fashion/film/advertising) like Directors - Pete Chatmon, Michele & Olivier Gondry, Raquel Cepeda, New York Rangers - Dominic Moore, Designers, Sami Miro, Donna Karan, Victoria’s Secret Models, Pro Snowboarder - Scoty Lago, Artists - Olu Bliss, Asap Ferg, and  TJ Mizell,
